PARTNERSHIP KÄSSBOHRER AND SPENGLER

German semi-trailer company Kässbohrer has entered into a new partnership with Hermann Spengler GmbH & Co. KG, a specialist in prefabricated safety barriers. Spengler has invested in Kässbohrer’s K.SSL 35 silo vehicle, which offers high manoeuvrability and safety.

NEW SCANIA GEARBOXES

Scania is adding two new members to the G25CM and G33CM range, the G25CH and G33CH models, with a more robust planetary gear to improve the fuel efficiency and robustness of the trucks. The new Scania Opticruise range of gearboxes saves fuel thanks to its low internal friction and only two synchronisers.

VICTORY IN THE DAKAR

The 45th edition of the Dakar ended successfully for the new IVECO teams. The drivers got through this test of extreme endurance with the best results, having covered more than 8.500 km on dangerous terrain and through vast stretches of sandy dunes. Janus van Kasteren Jr, with his consistent performance, took first place in the overall classification, followed by Martin van den Brink and Mitchel van den Brink. The two IVECO teams started to show their strengths right from the prologue of the race, with IVECO Powerstar trucks powered by FPT Industrial Cursor 13 engines.
