THE 4TH EDITION OF GLOBAL MOBILITY CALL 2026 WILL BE HELD FROM 9 TO 11 JUNE, AN EVENT DEDICATED TO SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY WITH A FOCUS ON CITIES

From 9 to 11 June, at IFEMA MADRID, the leading event in sustainable mobility will bring together the main players in the sector to promote innovative solutions and business growth.

The 4th edition of Global Mobility Call will feature a congress and exhibition format offering strategic networking opportunities, public-private partnerships and presentation of technological developments.

Mobility is going through a time of structural transformation, marked by the energy transition, the reconfiguration of urban transport, the emergence of new technologies and the growing role of public administrations in the planning of more efficient, safe and sustainable systems.

Global Mobility Call (GMC), a forum for reflection and analysis on the main challenges facing the sector, has established itself as the main event driving public-private collaboration, positioning Spain and Europe as a hub for innovation and technology in the field of mobility.

The meeting will bring together institutional decision-makers, experts, operators, industry and technological agents to analyse how to move towards more sustainable, connected, safe and people-centred mobility models.

The current mobility landscape is marked by key factors such as electrification and the consequent need to deploy charging infrastructures; the rise of urban mobility, public transport and multimodality; as well as a profound process of digitalisation, artificial intelligence and smart data management. In addition to these challenges, there are other equally relevant challenges such as road safety, accessibility, financing and governance of mobility ecosystems.

The GMC 2026 program will revolve around these key themes, structured into strategic spaces that enable a cross-cutting approach, integrating industrial, technological, urban, and social perspectives.

The last edition of the Global Mobility Call brought together more than 8,000 trade visitors from 47 countries and was attended by nearly 500 speakers, including government officials, business leaders and innovation specialists. The 4th edition of GMC is presented as follows: a space for analysis, reflection and contrast of visions, aligned with the current situation of the sector and with the challenges that will mark the mobility agenda in the coming years.

The event will also be held simultaneously with the TECMA, SRR, SOCIOCARE and Cities Forum trade fairs, making up a complete programme promoted by IFEMA MADRID, specially designed so that public administrations can take advantage of a day at the fairgrounds to learn about and analyse innovative solutions in mobility and urban planning, two key areas for the development and quality of life in cities.
