KARSAN WILL DELIVER 13 E-ATA 12 M AS WELL AS 8 E-ATAK IN ROMANIA

Karsan, a commercial vehicle manufacturer since 1981 and founded in Bursa Hasanağa, Turkey, is now the European leader in electric vehicle transport infrastructure transformation and continues to be Europe’s choice with the products and technologies developed by the brand.

Karsan continues to grow in major markets and has secured its latest tender of 23 electric vehicles in Chitila, Romania. With this tender Karsan has confirmed the delivery of 23 electric vehicles, which the company guarantees will be delivered by the end of the year. These are 10 units of the eight-meter e-ATAK model and 13 units of the 12-meter e-ATA bus, which will be exported for the first time.

The e-ATA and the e-ATAK are Karsan company models with great success in Europe, including the e-ATAK model winning the award in the urban transport category of “Sustainable Bus of the Year” and is the European leader for the second consecutive year.

According to the proposal a total of 28 fast and slow charging stations will also be installed in Chitila and Okan Baş. Karsan’s CEO, noted: «We will ensure the electric transformation of the public transport system in Chitila. Thanks to our pioneering role in electric mobility, we as Karsan are pleased to provide the first electric vehicles in Chitila».

Romania is one of Karsan’s main markets, with 175 vehicles in service in Romania. The company’s CEO says that its distributor, Anadolu Automobil Rom, will allow the brand to grow further in the Romanian market and further concluded: «As Karsan, we will accelerate the development process in the market we have just entered while fortifying our presence in our target markets».
