FIAA 2026, WHICH WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 22 TO 24 SEPTEMBER 2026, FORECASTS A 50% INCREASE IN GLOBAL PARTICIPATION
The International Bus and Coach Trade Fair (FIAA) is moving ahead towards its 17th edition, to be held at IFEMA MADRID halls 7 and 9 from 22 to 24 September 2026. The event restates its role as the leading international meeting point for the collective road transport sector.
For more than 30 years, FIAA has established itself as the reference platform to present the latest innovations, connect manufacturers and operators, and support the growth of the industry. At present, FIAA remains a hub for business, innovation and internationalisation of the bus and coach sector.
Looking ahead to 2026, international participation is expected to rise by 50%, with overall growth of 30% in comparison to the previous edition. Specialized media outlets from Europe, Latin America, Asia and the Middle East have already begun to increase coverage on the upcoming fair, exposing its reach and growing influence on the global arena.
With ten months still to go, more than 75% of exhibition space has already been booked, underlining both the strong momentum of the sector and the fair’s appeal as a leading commercial event.
To further boost business opportunities and foster direct contact between supply and demand, FIAA 2026 will introduce an international buyers’ programme. This initiative aims at bringing together key decision-makers and operators from strategic markets worldwide, attracting businesses from over twenty countries.
Through all these measures, FIAA highlights its commitment to the development of the bus and coach related industry, the projection of businesses and the promotion of collective mobility as a cornerstone in the quest towards more efficient and sustainable transport.
